JOB PROFILE:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement the quality program
1.1 Implement the quality program from customers and sales relationships to manufacturing final products
1.2 Assess, develop, document and implement procedures and work instructions to achieve product quality, including test procedures and audit program
1.3 Propose changes to products and working methods to improve their quality
1.4 Develop an effective measurement, tracking and reporting approach to non conforming products, quality defects, waste, complaints and discrepancies
1.5 Identify measurable relationships between work methods, cost and final product quality
1.6 Identify key performance indicators to monitor to ensure quality of processes and products
1.7 Develop and maintain documentation for the quality program
1.8 Develop and document quality specifications for raw materials and final products
1.9 Search, select and develop analysis and testing methods for the quality system
1.10 Document the introduction of new equipment and manufacturing processes
1.11 Ensure operations are in compliance with legislation related to safety and environment
Apply and promote the quality program:
2.1 Visit the different production sites to ensure quality control
2.2 Plan and complete audits and other tests to verify that the quality program is effective
2.3 Analyze, resolve and document non-compliance cases reported
2.4 Lead continuous improvement projects to improve quality, reduce costs and increase customer satisfaction
2.5 Develop required improvements to the ongoing quality testing processes for received goods, products in process and final products
2.6 Ensure adherence to established quality system requirements and standards
2.7 Train team members to the quality program to ensure consistent understanding
2.8 Implement problem solving approach and tools to quality problems and train team members to their use
2.9 Visit current and potential customers and suppliers to help fostering business relationship
