Dear Jackson,
Here is the process of devanning…
1. The laden container is moved to our contract CFS and stand by for devanning.
2. To wait the government warehouse greenlight us to move the cargo into the warehouse after we applied the container manifest to them.
3. The devanning process is starting after the greenlight.
4. Our unstuffing team break the container seal and move the cargo out one by one.
5. Tally clerk is counting the cargo by reference with manifest.
6. Government warehouse ( another tally ) is counting the cargo before get the cargo into the warehouse.
7. Any damage / lost is informed to head office and inform to the concern customer & loading port respectively.
8. The empty container is returned to empty yard.
In this case, the lost was found during tally. After the clerk found that it wasn’t match with the manifest. They reported
to the office and our office reported to the consignee. In the meantime, our tally also checked with the warehouse tally.
The result was the same. Our people and document shown that there is no this mention cargo found during unstuffing.
