The understanding of the sea level

The understanding of the sea level changes and its impacts on the coastal ecosystem is important due to the global climate changes nowadays. Fully utilize the satellite altimetry multi-mission function in term of extraction sea level anomalies is expected towards to the projection of sea level rise in future for Malaysia Seas. The purpose of this study is to analyze the trend variation of sea level rise for selected locations along the Malaysia coast line. Furthermore, rate of future sea level rise at those selected stations will be predicted in the year 2020 until 2100

Pemahaman perubahan paras laut dan kesan-kesannya terhadap ekosistem pantai adalah penting kerana perubahan iklim global pada masa kini. Sepenuhnya menggunakan altimetry satelit fungsi pelbagai misi dalam jangka pengekstrakan anomali paras laut dijangka ke arah untuk unjuran kenaikan paras air laut pada masa akan datang bagi Malaysia Seas. Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk menganalisis perubahan trend kenaikan aras laut untuk lokasi terpilih di sepanjang garis pantai Malaysia. Tambahan pula, kadar masa depan kenaikan aras laut di mereka stesen terpilih akan meramalkan pada tahun 2020 sehingga 2100
