Dear DHL team,
In attached file is the #container no. that Penang port hold us for overweight, and as a results we failed this shipment.
In contradict, our gate reports shows that we never have such overloaded, and we spent hours redo packing in our factory as you aware.
May I ask you to matches containers no. with transporter in Malaysia, and dates of arrival at Penang port?
From our point of view, the containers were returned to port long before closing date.
We are not informed of the risk and tackle it until couple days before closing, while we should be able to handle the case much earlier than this.
It is important for us to understand new process, where to get an alarm, and how to get feedback of any risks occur from our partner in Malaysia.
For this particular case, we need to understand;
1. Were the MY transporter or customs agent aware of the overweight container when entering port?
2. Were any documents from port given to shipper if their containers are hold? By latest how many dates after arrival port, or before load?
3. IF above 2 points are existing, by what or how Panel Plus have not been informed?
Thanks in advance for your support and looking forward to your reply.
