I received Ariya’s answer.
Talking about how many months that an employee has been working is important for their bonus evaluation.
And to know working period (how many months) of employees who have been working within 6 months was issue.
Because it was difficult for us to deal with a situation that a month an employee starts to work on halfway
can be included in the working period or should be excluded.
Your idea that
Before 15th, the month can be included in the period.
After 16th, the month can not be included in the period
Or
My idea that
By knowing the function of inclination referring to the rate between months and percentage in the regulation,
we can calculate percentage by any months including decimal.
Ariya told me 2 ideas above are applicable to the issue.
His comment was “these way sound fair.”
But he didn’t refer to the current system that even if starting day to work is very early after 1st in a month,
the month can not be included in the period.
In these points of view, I think it is better for us to revise the working regulation.
On the other hand, he showed me a story related to the issue.
In a company taking a bonus payment rule that “Belonging to the company when bonus payment is essential to get bonus.”,
an employee quitted the company just before the payment day.
According to the supreme court, it is legal NOT to pay bonus by following the company’s rule.
