Even if there is still 3 weeks left of certifications you have already last week seen the first automated reminder e-mail being sent to all certifiers who had not completed their reviews.
We know that R&S has requested to have LODCs perform the certification task and that this means some of the LODCs have a high number of accesses to certify, which in turn means it sometimes is easier to progress this work outside of IAM Access Manager, e.g. using spreadsheets. There is no problem with doing this, except that the standard progress monitoring does not give credit for progress which has not been recorded in Access Manager. As coordinators of Downstream certifications we now get frequent questions on certification status, not least because Downstream is trailing Chemicals and Upstream.
Within Downstream R&S is trailing the other businesses, but this is of course based on what is updated in Access Manager.
In order to provide a more accurate Downstream certifications status we are asking those of you who’s recorded status is below 50%, to reply to this mail with a quick note containing information on what according to you would be a more accurate number or percentage to describe the current status of your certifications, and of course also to confirm that certifications will be completed by the due date October 1. The attached statistics are from September 6th, 2016.
