4. Further following norms were considered for the
choice of respondents in each participating
organizations.
a. 30% of the population where size > 100
b. 25% of the population where size < 100
Similarly norms were followed for sample
distribution (Level wise) of each of the
participating organizations:
a. Level I (Strategic Planning)
50% of the population.
b. Level II (Executive Control)
50% of the population.
c. Level III (Operational Control)
25% of the population
These norms were decided after a detailed
discussion with academicians, researchers and
industry experts. It was found that by increasing
sample size, there was a marginal change in results
and effort to collect data would have increased
