Thank you for your prompt response to my message. I have been hoping for your response. I
am writing this mail to you base on a business transaction deal on my desk that requires
your concern. Read my below mail and reply me if you are interested or disregard.
I am Mr. Steve Douglas; I am a Business Relations Manager with the HSBC Bank England. I only
decided to contact you regarding the estate of a deceased client with a similar last name as
you and an investment placed under my banks management many years ago. I hope I have not
embarrassed you as I got your name from your country Chamber of Commerce Directory. I would
respectfully request that you keep the contents of this mail confidential and respect the
integrity of the information you come by as a result of this mail. I contacted you
independently and no one is informed of this communication.
In 2005 the deceased; Mr. Santosh Kumpeeraparb came to our bank to engage in business
discussions with our private banking division. He informed us that he had a financial
portfolio of Seven Million Three Hundred and Fifty Thousand United States Dollars ($7.350M)
which he wished to have us invest on his behalf. Based on my advice, we spun the money around
various opportunities and made attractive margins for our first months of operation, the
accrued profit and interest stood at this point at over One Million One Hundred Thousand
United States Dollars ($1.1M). In mid-2006, he instructed that the principal sum ($7.350M)
be liquidated because he needed to make an urgent investment requiring cash payments in
Hong Kong. We got in touch with a specialist bank in Hong Kong, Industrial and Commercial
bank of China Ltd (ICBC) who agreed to receive this money for a fee and make funds
available to Mr. Santosh Kumpeeraparb . However ICBC got in touch with us that this money
has not yet been claimed. On further inquiries we found out that Mr. Santosh Kumpeeraparb
was involved in an accident in Mainland China, which means he died intestate. He has no
next of kin or beneficiary according to his file on my desk. I am writing you because you
both share the same last name.
What I propose is that since I have full exclusive access to his file on my desk as his
account officer, you will be made the beneficiary (next of kin) of these funds. I will fill
in your names as the next of kin on his file, my bank will contact you informing you that
the money has been willed to you. On verification, which will be the details I make
available to my bank, my bank will instruct ICBC to make payments to you. I know this might
be a heavy business deal for you but please trust me on this its between you and me only.
I propose that we split the money in half (50% each) when it has been successfully
transferred to you. In the banking circle this type of transactions happens every time and
am so happy it has come my way. This is a lifetime opportunity for us and i would want us
to keep on with a steady communication. If you agree with me on this business deal, i will
start up with all formalities required and the money will be transferred to you in your
country before a fort night.
Please again, note I am a family man I have a wife and children. I sent you this mail not
without a measure of fear as to the consequences, but I know within me that nothing ventured
is nothing gained and that success and riches never come easy or on a platter of gold. This
is the one truth I have learned from my banking experience. Do not betray my confidence. If
we can be of one accord, we should act swiftly on this transaction because it's a 'BUSINESS
DEAL' between you and me only. Please get back to me immediately and let me know if you
intend to be part of this business deal or not. If you do not want to be involved kindly
let me know so I would seize further communication with you and look for someone else who
can. Always check your email at list twice daily for easy responds between our conversation.
I await your urgent responds.
Respectfully,
Steve Douglas
International Business Relations Manager (HSBC) England.
