The analysis identified a large potential for the development of the pharmaceutical market of the Union, the press service reports.
As director of the Department of Industrial Policy Vladimir Maltsev stated, currently the pharmaceutical market of the EEU depends on import: the share of imported pharmaceutical products in Belarus is 75%, Kazakhstan - 88%, Russia - 82%. This is so, due to the huge number of generic drugs (cheaper equivalents of original pharmaceutical products for the active substance) from India, China and Eastern Europe.
The analysis showed that, the serious prevalence of imported products, there is a great potential for co-operation and co-production of pharmaceutical products instead of imported. "Today there is a real opportunity to increase production by at least 3.5 times and increase our pharmaceutical industry. Pharmaceutical Market of the EEU - one of the most promising and dynamic markets of the Union"- Vladimir Maltsev said.
The results showed that the majority of manufacturers of Member States EEU specialize mainly on the production of cheap generic drugs. At the same time there is increasing demand for more expensive branded products industry.
According to the results of this work, the authorities will make appropriate recommendations of the Board of EEC, offer the possibility of joint measures for the modernization of existing and creation of new industries, to ensure conditions for import substitution, increase investment and innovation in the pharmaceutical industry.

Анализ выявил большой потенциал для развития фармацевтического рынка Союза, сообщает пресс-служба.
Как отметил директор департамента промышленной политики Владимир Мальцев заявил, в настоящее время на фармацевтическом рынке ЕврАзЭС зависит от импорта: доля импортной фармацевтической продукты в Беларуси составляет 75%, Казахстан - 88%, Россия - 82%. Это так, из-за огромного количества дженериков (более дешевых эквивалентов оригинальных фармацевтических продуктов для активного вещества) из Индии, Китая и Восточной Европы.
Анализ показал, что, серьезно распространенность импортной продукции, есть большой потенциал для сотрудничество и совместное производство фармацевтической продукции вместо импортной. "Сегодня есть реальная возможность увеличить производство, по крайней мере в 3,5 раза и увеличить нашу фармацевтическую промышленность Фармацевтический рынок в ЕврАзЭС -.
