The concept for this tour brochure is to bring the notion of ‘childhood’ back from a different point of view — the brochure is designed to present a grown-up version of the playground with the idea that the participant is not limited by the perimeter in which he/she can play in.
Image manipulation as well as photo filtering was the main focus of the thematic treatment to achieve the effect of people having fun in a more extreme way.The spreads exhibited bold colours of high contrast, which gave the brochure energy and activity. Visual metaphors came into play as the elements of the playground were used to present an activity in a different perspective. The idea of a new way of looking into the playground was achieved by the use of images that were in varying points of view. Moreover, the typesetting was purposely done in a way to show movement and something risky but exhilarating.
