Hitler came to power in Germany, he basically told the people not to worry that he would take care of them and once he was in he abused that trust and power to start a war on his own people. The holocaust did happen in other countries, Hitler wanted to take it to the world but was stopped. The people did not hate the jews, Hitler hated the jews because he saw that many of them were business owners and had money, also he had jews in his family. Hitler had a way of convincing people that what he wanted was for the greater good. He had a great military mind and was extremely persuasive but instead of using that talent for good he decide to attempt to wipe jews off the face of the Earth. He didn't just discriminate on Jews, blacks, gypsies, the disabled, and others were sent to Concentration and Death Camps. It just shows that the amount of influence someone has can end up being a very bad thing.
