July Crisis - A series of events that happened in the July of 1914 that lead to the start of World War I. These immediate causes of World War I included the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferninand of Austria, the ultimatum sent from Austria-Hungary to Serbia, and the mobilization of Russia.
