Why does this feel oddly distopian. Something about the Kiwi Bird Feing on their isolated pillar in the sky and him wanting to fly so bad he is willing to die for it. The animation mosily has a happy mood beside the end, it feels depressing to me. The Kiwi Bird is that willing to ily, to have some basic feeling of it at least. It's like all that matters to him is flyin g. he has nothing to live for in the bleak empty world that is the pillar and whatever lies at the tottom. 1 feel this is even more demented that the world is empty by the howling cries of win d, it's really the only background noise. The music box as w ell while he is falling in style, it ieels like it is signifying some sweet release the kiwi is wanting.
