1. Respect for cultural and heritag

1. Respect for cultural and heritage diversity requires conscious efforts to avoid imposing mechanistic formulae or standardized procedures in attempting to define or determine authenticity of particular monuments and sites.
2. Efforts to determine authenticity in a manner respectful of cultures and heritage diversity requires approaches which encourage cultures to develop analytical processes and tools specific to their nature and needs. Such approaches may have several aspects in common:
• efforts to ensure assessment of authenticity involve multidisciplinary collaboration and the appropriate utilization of all available expertise and knowledge;
• efforts to ensure attributed values are truly representative of a culture and the diversity of its interests, in particular monuments and sites;
• efforts to document clearly the particular nature of authenticity for monuments and sites as a practical guide to future treatment and monitoring;
• efforts to update authenticity assessments in light of changing values and circumstances.
3. Particularly important are efforts to ensure that attributed values are respected, and that their determination includes efforts to build, as far as possible, a multidisciplinary and community consensus concerning these values.
4. Approaches should also build on and facilitate international co-operation among all those with an interest in conservation of cultural heritage, in order to improve global respect and understanding for the diverse expressions and values of each culture.
5. Continuation and extension of this dialogue to the various regions and cultures of the world is a prerequisite to increasing the practical value of consideration of authenticity in the conservation of the common heritage of humankind.
6. Increasing awareness within the public of this fundamental dimension of heritage is an absolute necessity in order to arrive at concrete measures for safeguarding the vestiges of the past. This means developing greater understanding of the values represented by the cultural properties themselves, as well as respecting the role such monuments and sites play in contemporary society.

1-احترام الثقافة وتنوع التراث يتطلب بذل جهود واعية لتجنب فرض صيغ الميكانيكية أو إجراءات موحدة في محاولة لتعريف أو تحديد صحة خاصة المعالم والمواقع.2-الجهود المبذولة لتحديد صحة بطريقة تحترم الثقافات وتنوع التراث يتطلب النهج التي تشجع الثقافات لتطوير العمليات التحليلية وأدوات محددة لطبيعتها واحتياجاتها. قد يكون هذا النهج عدة جوانب مشتركة:• الجهود المبذولة لضمان تقييم صحة تنطوي على التعاون متعدد التخصصات، والاستخدام المناسب لكافة الخبرات المتاحة والمعارف؛• الجهود المبذولة لضمان القيم المنسوبة ممثلا حقيقيا لثقافة والتنوع لمصالحها، وخاصة المعالم والمواقع؛• الجهود المبذولة لتوثيق وضوح الطبيعة الخاصة لصحة للمعالم والمواقع كدليل عملي للمعالجة المستقبلية والرصد؛• الجهود المبذولة لتحديث التقييمات الأصالة في ضوء القيم والظروف المتغيرة.3-الأهمية بذل الجهود لضمان أن تحترم القيم المنسوبة، وأن تصميمها وتشمل الجهود الرامية إلى بناء توافق في آراء المتعددة التخصصات والمجتمع فيما يتعلق بهذه القيم، قدر الإمكان،.4-النهج ينبغي أيضا بناء وتيسير التعاون الدولي بين جميع من لهم مصلحة في الحفاظ على التراث الثقافي، من أجل تحسين الاحترام العالمي والتفاهم لتعبيرات متنوعة وقيم كل ثقافة.5. 1. احترام التنوع الثقافي والتراث يتطلب جهودا واعية لتجنب فرض الصيغ الميكانيكية أو إجراءات موحدة في محاولة لتعريف أو تحديد أصالة من المعالم الأثرية ومواقع معينة.
2. الجهود لتحديد صحة بطريقة تحترم الثقافات وتنوع التراث يتطلب النهج التي تشجع الثقافات لتطوير العمليات والأدوات التحليلية محددة لطبيعة واحتياجاتهم. قد يكون هذه النهج العديد من الجوانب المشتركة:
جهود • لضمان تقييم صحة تنطوي على تعاون متعدد التخصصات والاستخدام السليم للجميع الخبرات والمعارف المتاحة؛
• الجهود لضمان القيم المنسوبة هي تمثيلية حقيقية للثقافة وتنوع مصالحها، في الآثار ومواقع معينة؛
• جهود لتوثيق بوضوح الطبيعة الخاصة للأصالة عن الآثار والمعالم والمواقع بمثابة دليل عملي للعلاج والرصد في المستقبل؛
• جهود لتحديث تقييم أصالة في ضوء تغير القيم والظروف.
3. أهمية خاصة على الجهود المبذولة لضمان أن ينسب القيم المحترمة، والتي تشمل عزمهم الجهود الرامية إلى بناء، قدر الإمكان، إلى توافق متعدد التخصصات والمجتمع فيما يتعلق بهذه القيم.
4. يجب النهج أيضا بناء على وتسهيل التعاون الدولي بين جميع الأطراف التي لها مصلحة في الحفاظ على التراث الثقافي، من أجل تحسين احترام عالمي وفهم للألفاظ والقيم المتنوعة من كل ثقافة.
5. استمرار وتوسيع هذا الحوار إلى مختلف المناطق والثقافات في العالم هو شرط أساسي لزيادة القيمة العملية للنظر في صحة في الحفاظ على التراث المشترك للبشرية.
6. زيادة الوعي لدى الجمهور من هذا البعد الأساسي للتراث ضرورة مطلقة من أجل التوصل إلى تدابير ملموسة لحماية آثار الماضي. هذا يعني تطوير فهم أكبر للقيم التي تمثلها الممتلكات الثقافية نفسها، وكذلك احترام الدور الذي تلعبه مثل هذه النصب التذكارية والمواقع في المجتمع المعاصر.
