There are one of causes which shows that the theme and the plot are strongly tied each other:
The love shown by darcy to Elizabeth is true but darcy does it with uncommon way, not like common people shows their feeling to the others. To keep his pride, darcy doesn’t act like he truely loves elizabeth, but actually darcy does love her. It causes the conflict in the story and influences the plot. The plot becomes richer by this scene. So it is proper to include love as a supporting theme for the novel.

Ada salah satu penyebab yang menunjukkan bahwa tema dan plot yang sangat terikat satu sama lain:
Cinta ditunjukkan oleh darcy untuk Elizabeth benar tetapi darcy melakukannya dengan cara biasa, tidak seperti orang biasa menunjukkan perasaan mereka kepada orang lain. Untuk menjaga harga dirinya, darcy tidak bertindak seperti dia benar-benar mencintai elizabeth, namun sebenarnya darcy tidak mencintainya. Hal ini menyebabkan konflik dalam cerita dan mempengaruhi plot. Plot menjadi lebih kaya dengan adegan ini. Jadi sudah selayaknya untuk menyertakan cinta sebagai tema pendukung untuk novel.
