Dear All,
A few Tele-sales staff here at Gold Card Ladprao are unhappy with our office rules of 50 baht penalty per lateness, automatically deducted through Weekly Labour Report, as they're complaining and comparing staff on other Centara programmes are not being penalised for lateness.
To improve punctuality and keeping the same standard at all Centara programmes, please immediately implement the same office rules or Policy as below at your programme starting from tomorrow, brief and get all staff to acknowledge this new rule.
Policy Statement: All staff must arrive at office before the morning briefing starts (or the afternoon briefing for part-timer who works in the afternoon shift only), failing which will result to a 50 baht fine, deducted through Weekly Labour Report. Exception may be made in case of emergency and with advance notice via phone call to PD before briefing starts, and include any special agreement between any staff and the PD that allows the staff to start work by a specific time such as 9:45 or 10:00am if any staff genuinely unable to comply due to family obligations such as the need to take care of children before start work, etc. However, should such exception is made, 9:46am is late if the agreed time is 9:45am, and 10:01am is late if the agreed time is 10:00am.
Objective: Morning briefing can start on time and without interruption in the middle of it and all sales staff must be expected to start selling at once (same time with everyone in the team) as soon as the briefing is complete. This is also part of the office rules and standard expectations in order for a discipline and productive team to be established.
