The attraction offers visitors views from the skyscraper, with two viewing platforms inside the building: the first is a triple level indoor gallery on Level 69, and the second is a partially outdoor gallery on Level 72.
Level 69 is the main viewing gallery and it is equipped with digital "Telescopes" through which guests can explore the city around them in real time. Below are few of these landmarks:
ST PAUL’S CATHEDRAL
St Paul’s was London’s first cathedral, founded in 604AD. What you see today is the fifth building to have stood on the site and was designed by Sir Christopher Wren between 1675 and 1710 after its predecessor was destroyed in the Great Fire of London. The dome rises 110 metres (365 feet – 1 foot for every day of the year) from the ground and you can climb up to its galleries including the famous Whispering Gallery so called because sound travels around its walls.
TOWER BRIDGE
Tower Bridge, completed in 1894 is the most famous of all London’s bridges. It lifts approximately 850 times a year to let river traffic through. In 1952 a London bus driven by Albert Gunter had to leap from one side to the other when the bridge began to rise with the number 78 bus still on it!
‘THE CHEESEGRATER’ LEADENHALL BUILDING
This building was designed by Richard Rogers and completed in 2014 and stands 225 metres (737 feet) high. It gets its name from its distinctive wedge shape which ensures that views of St Paul’s
