Vaisey-Genser et al (1994) used logistic regression analysis to relate the average proportion of acceptance of canola oils to their storage time. An incomplete block design was used whereby not all consumers tasted all storage times. This introduces a certain amount of confounding to the experiment; e.g the average proportion of acceptance at D 10 could be different to that of D 12 due to different storage times or due to different consumers. This type of incomplete block designs could have been analyzed more efficiently considering survival analysis concepts.

Vaisey-Genser et al (1994) menggunakan analisis regresi logistik untuk berhubungan proporsi rata-rata penerimaan minyak canola ke waktu penyimpanan mereka. Sebuah rancangan lengkap digunakan dimana tidak semua konsumen mencicipi setiap saat penyimpanan. Ini memperkenalkan sejumlah mengacaukan untuk percobaan; misalnya proporsi rata-rata penerimaan pada D 10 dapat berbeda dengan yang D 12 karena waktu penyimpanan yang berbeda atau karena konsumen yang berbeda. Jenis desain blok lengkap bisa dianalisis lebih efisien mengingat konsep analisis survival.
