When I search the definition of the governing board in internet, I'm not found in Australia clearly, but I found it in Rutgers University site. I found some of universities in Australia are using "Council" or "Senate" term. So, I use reference from Rutgers University to understand what the meaning of governing board.
After read your presentation, I know that Universities in Australia use term of "Council" or "Senate" for governing board. I think the "board" term is same with MWA (Majelis Wali Amanat) in Indonesia
