One could argue that those who perceived higher levels of role conflict as source of stress would be less satisfiedwith the job. This argument has been supported by earlier research (For example, Yousef, 2002a; Bedeian andArmenakis, 1981; Behrman and Perrault, 1984; Singh, 1998; Schaubroeck et al., 1989; Ruyter et al., 2001; Karshet al., 2005; Udo et al., 1997).
