For me, new centralized organization at Cisco has related to the mission statement where the company focuses on customer’s needs instead of what the company would like to produce. Moreover, as you can see from the case study, Cisco did R&D by focusing on customers’ needs to make sure that their products reach the consumers demands and able to be success from those products. Also, the centralized organization strategy helps the company prevent producing redundancy products to customers which could cost high amount of waste in production line of the company. Cisco started to use “Customer Focus Initiative” in order to manage their employees to understand the new strategy of the business as well as to focus on working in the same direction both executives and staff.
