Dialysis represents the main mode for treatment of (CKD) stage. Hemodialysis (HD) is the process of cleaning the blood from waste products and fluids and correcting electrolyte imbalance by passing it through a special machine and dialyzer, also referred to as an "artificial kidney.". It is necessary when the kidneys are not able to filter the blood. Hemodialysis allow patients with kidney failure to live productive life. Hemodialysis must be performed for the rest of the life or until the patient receive a kidney transplant. If the transplant is unsuccessful, dialysis can be restarted (National Kidney Foundation Kidney Disease Quality Outcomes Initiative "K/DOQI", 2015)..
