• CAPCO presented on “BBL-SGB Tuning & Optimization Status”.
o Tuning Cycle 1 which focuses on the SAS-CDD component has started and Banding Rule Optimization activity is ongoing.
o Pre-tuning preparations have been completed (environment set up, data loading, report generations).
o The exercise of Tuning cycle 1 started on 23rd August with more than 3 weeks of delay compared to the initial plan due to the shift in go-live.
o Tuning cycle 1 focuses on the optimisation of the new Customer risk rating module with the evaluation of the banding rule parameters.
o Singapore Branch has started conducting sampled investigations. SGB analysts are objectively assessing the risk rating of customers based on their risk attributes, and the output of this activity will be used to start the current banding rule parameters and prepare the recommendations.
o Based on the reports generating for cycle 1, CAPCO, BBL SGB and BBL HO identified major issues relating to missing information from the source systems-The impact for each data issue is currently being assessed by all parties. These major issues could be potentially a showstopper for cycle 1. So far Singapore Branch can still proceed with the sampled investigations for the current activity.
