I can imagine that it is still possible today for someone to place a substantial
piece of architecture in the Alps
in the right place With the right content that would make the landscape resonate. Admittedly, designers who want to do that, and can, are a rarity. And clients Who have faith in such designers may be an even greater rarity. Nonetheless, the path to follow is obvious:
l must try to let an appreciation of the landscape swell inside me if l want to create a new place of concentration that yields a new up and down, a new left and right, a new front and back. New landmarks. Sometimes the synthesis succeeds: structure and landscape fuse, grow together and establish an inimitable place. The aura of such places means home.
