At 4:30 p.m. today, Thailand’s Army Chief announced a military coup across the nation. The curfew (10:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.) starts today. You are advised to fully comply with the curfew announcement and avoid the protest areas including Ratchadamnoen Road, Aksa Road and other hot spots. You are also advised to closely monitor media sources and be vigilant of the possibility of violence associated with the on-going situations.
Chevron Thailand office at the SCB Park Plaza will operate as normal tomorrow. You are advised to consult with your supervisor if you have difficulty in commuting to work.
Thailand Crisis Management Team is closely monitoring and evaluating the situation. Further communications will be made to all personnel if there is a significant change in the situation, which has the possibility of affecting safety and security of Company personnel. Company updates on business operations will be provided via email, Chevron Emergency News Line (+66 2 545 6666) or SMS service.
