English Language Arts:
Guts can identify the letters learned this term and recall the majority of their phonetic sounds. He has developed a good foundation of English vocabulary, and is able to form small sentences. Guts often completes his work very quickly resulting in messy tracing and printing, I encourage him to take his time and print beautifully.
Math :
Guts is able to count from 1-20 with some assistance. He is able to relate a numeral, 1-15, to its respective quantity. Practicing counting at home will improve his pronunciation.
Science :
He can confidently identify farm animals and wild animals and is able to classify and sort these animals into their proper habitats.
Behaviour and Participation :
Guts is always eager to help out in the classroom. He enjoys singing English songs and leaning phonetics on the computer. I will remind Guts to take his time tracing and printing. Good work, Guts!
