The moon may not be made of cheese but America soon might be, thanks to a dairy war with Europe that has seen the country stockpiling more than a billion pounds of unsold cheese and butter.
USDA statistics show that the US's inventory now numbers around 1.1billion pounds - more than at any point since April 1984.
More than half of that amount is made of American cheese and a further two percent Swiss cheese, they reported - and it's because of Europe's recent troubles,
