To conclude, the discussion has shown that employers and universities believe that transferable ability is the initial purpose of higher education, while students have multiple objectives such as an opportunity for a better job and collect the social experience. Transferable skills can be seen as having an important role in life after university. Therefore, the three views have crucial reasons to encourage employability agenda in universities. However, this essay is limited by the lack of information on social and government perspectives. It is suggested that the association of these factors is investigated in future studies.
