As far as the effect of e-commerce is concerned, although our result does not indicate a significant relationship
between the number of people who can use the internet and the number of official sales of alcoholic beverage, the
effect of the number of internet users on the number of sales always has a negative sign in every model. This implies
that even though at the current stage there is no smuggling or tax loss from shopping for alcoholic beverage via the
internet, there is a probability that the government will lose tax revenue on this commodity from trade via this channel.
