Thursday, July 17th, 2014
If the blood vessels in the brain were stretched out, it would cover the length of 100,000 miles. Gunther von Hagens, a german anatomist, developed a technique called plastination, in which biological tissue is preserved. In his exhibition Body Worlds, he exhibits a configuration of the blood vessels of the head and brain. It is an amazing learning experience and the exhibit has been viewed by thousands of curious minds all over the world.
