• SAS proposed the possible strategies to maintain go-live date
• Back-to-back SIT/UAT testing. SAS has identified 4 components to be started UAT early by using Lev 2 environment. Since SAS will test these 4 components during the first 2 weeks of SIT in Lev 1 and fix all defects. After that we will have a check point after 2 weeks of SIT to see the quality of the code whether these are ready for UAT or not.
1. Security Matrix
2. Scenario testing AML/CDD
3. Workflow
4. Watch List
- Anyway, this will need to have more discussion with all parties. Dorian said that CAPCO may be able to cover only security matrix and logic for scenarios 2 or 3 weeks before the end of SIT. However, Dorian mentioned that a minimum of 11 weeks is required for UAT execution after SIT completion. The UAT scope to cover is large with a tight schedule, the risk is high not to be in position to finish the UAT execution within 11 weeks
- K. Sopana raised the concern on the SIT exit and UAT entry. If we start UAT early during the SIT for those components, will this impact SIT exit and UAT entry
- BBL also concern on SIT exit and UAT entry according to the standard process. BBL considered that the end user will join the testing not only IT team. However, the defects that occurred or found during that period they will be raised and called as SIT defects. During the UAT, user will review again which part that they would like to retest to make sure that the end to end process run and programs are working properly as expected
