The aim of this paper is to investigate the influence of these vari- ables: age, gender, project type and length of stay on the impacts of a volunteer tourism experience. These impacts were specifically changes to people's personality traits. Fifteen personality traits were measured: anxiety, depression, vulnerability, assertiveness, action, artistic interests, emotionality, adventurousness, intellect, liberalism,trust, altruism, self-efficacy, dutifulness, and cautiousness; defined in Table 1.
