Hi there,
Thankyou for speaking to me earlier about filming in Ang Thong Marine park, I really appreciate it. As I said on the phone we are really interested in filming the wildlife and scenery within the park around the 15th December.
The series we are currently making is for the Discovery channel and called "Wildest Indochina". One of our episodes focusses on the wildlife and people of Thailand where we are going to be filming throughout December.
We are very interested in filming the Dusky Langurs and I have a couple of questions if that is OK:
- Which island are the langurs found on, I know you said they were near the park headquarters but which island is that?
- Can we stay on that island?
- Do you know how the langurs arrived on the islands, have they always been there?
- What other wildlife can we film on the islands that you see every day? Are there any good locations where we stand a good chance of being able to film other species?
- I have seen photos of a good viewpoint over the Marine Park - Which island is this? Is it the same island as the lake?
- Can we stay in accommodation in the Marine Park whilst we film?
Thankyou so much again for your help, we are just trying to work out what we might be able to film before we plan our schedule and apply for permits from the Thai government later this week.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes,
Anthony
