The purpose of this Operations Manual is to provide a standardised format for employees to follow.
2. SCOPE OF APPLICATION
This manual and all its associated documents will apply to the named table game and Casino Operations – Cairo.

4. INTRODUCTION
4.1 OVERVIEW
4.1.1 This procedure document provides details for staff of all departments of what processes to follow when Dealing or Supervising the Ultimate Poker table game.
4.1.2 Ultimate Poker is a variation on the Poker game of Texas Hold Em.
4.1.3 This variation is a dealer dealt banker’s game in which the DLR and each player is dealt two initial ‘hole’ cards. The Dealer deals three further ‘community’ cards (flop) followed by a further two community cards.
4.1.4 Upon revealing their two hole cards, the DLR will establish if they have a qualifying hand. The Dealer requires at least a pair to qualify.
4.1.5 Players may also place a ‘Trips’ bonus wager in addition to the initial ‘Ante’ and ‘Blind’ wagers.
4.2 TABLE AND EQUIPMENT
4.2.1 Ultimate Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker may be played only on tables displaying the Ultimate Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker layout. An example of the layout design is shown above.
4.2.2 The maximum and minimum wagers permitted shall be shown on a notice prominently displayed at the table. Partnerships with a view to exceeding the maximum stakes shall not be permitted.
4.2.3 The following equipment shall also be used:
• A sign with the permitted odds.
• Cutting card.
• One deck shoe
5. GAMING PROCEDURES
5.1 OPENING PROCEDURES
5.1.1 The game shall be played with a single deck of 52 cards, which are scrutinized and checked as per the standard opening procedures (see General Gaming Procedures for the checking of Playing Cards).
5.1.2 Once the chemmy has been completed the deck will be split into two equal piles and one pile placed at 10 o’clock and the other at 2 o’clock.
5.1.3 The pile placed in the 2 o’clock position must then be rotated 180 degrees while maintaining the same position on the table, at 2 o’clock. When rotating the cards care must be taken to ensure that no face value of the cards is revealed. The piles are then to be riffled shuffled twice, poker cut, then riffle shuffle twice more. This process is then repeated from the first riffle shuffle.
5.2 PREPARATIONS FOR THE GAME
5.2.1 The Table must have an INS present while the game is in progress.
5.2.2 Where a Poker shoe is in use it must be chained to the respective table during play.
5.3 THE SHUFFLE AND CUT
5.3.1 Before the commencement of each deal the cards are shuffled. The deck will be split into two equal piles and one pile placed at 10 o’clock and the other at 2 o’clock.
5.4 SHOE DEALT GAME
The pile placed in the 2 o’clock position must then be rotated 180 degrees while maintaining the same position on the table, at 2 o’clock. When rotating the cards care must be taken to ensure that no face value of the cards is revealed. The piles are then to be riffled shuffled twice, poker cut, then riffle shuffle twice more. This process will be followed on all subsequent shuffles.
5.4.1 The cards are initially offered to the Player sitting to the left of the DLR for the “Cut”. They are then offered in a clockwise direction, using a marker button if necessary to denote which Player is due to cut next.
5.4.2 When offering the cards to a Player for the “Cut” they must be placed face down in front of the Player with the cutting card next to the pack. The Player will then cut the pack in two and place the top portion onto the cutting-card. The DLR will then place the remaining bottom portion of the cards onto the top portion that is now on the cutting-card.
5.4.3 There is no minimum amount of cards to cut. The Player may choose not to cut at all or nominate another Player to cut for them. Should this be the case, then the strict order of rotation, regarding who is to cut next must be adhered to.
5.4.4 Important: Immediately following a customers winning hand of a straight flush or higher, when performing the next shuffle of the cards, the Dealer must also perform a thorough chemmy shuffle prior to the first riffle.
5.5 THE DEAL
5.5.1 Under no circumstances will the game be dealt by hand – only a Manual Shoe dealt game is permitted.
5.5.2 Only Players seated at the table may take part in the game and only one Player is permitted to wager on each box that corresponds to their position at the table.
5.5.3 Players may only play one hand. No exceptions to this rule.
5.5.4 Each Player begins by placing two initial bets of an equal amount in the spots marked “Ante” and “Blind”, these must be within the limit amount specified at the table.
5.6 THE TRIPS BONUS BET
5.6.1 Having placed the “Ante” and “Blind” bets and prior to any cards being dealt, Players also have an option to place a side bet called “Trips Bonus” in the designated betting area marked “Trips”, within the limit amount specif
