Dear Miss Jetiya,
We are not sure what had transpired and hope to tell you our side of what happened.
Our payments for Kris had been previously managed by Jess and Alex, and everything had been smooth earlier thus we do not keep a close eye on it.
This is our first investment outside Singapore, a lot of the paperwork are in Thai language, we were not sure of how the system work here, and thus had relied heavily on both Jess and Alex to send us the notice of payment when they were due. You will find this from the records of payment including the payment for the interior renovations and designs.
It entire process had been a quite long and we do not track the payments closely. When the unit was close to completion , after a long long while, we were asked to pay for the renovations, at which time we had the impression that the unit was fully paid up. This was further confused when Communications with Jess concentrated on defects rectification and management of the unit for tenancy.
I can send you old emails on the major confusion we had when we were asked to make payments subsequently which we, including Alex thought we had already fully paid for the unit. By this time, Jess had already left the Kris and we had a tough time trying to reconcile the payments as they were not at regular intervals and got even more confused with the renovation and designs payment.
We had been pushing both Alex and ESA since last year to approach you to devise a payment scheme as we had already deployed our money. It had been months till we finally had to call you before we were told that you are finally meeting ESA.
We understand your position and hope you can accede by giving us more time to raise the money as it is really too short a notice for end May.
Could you give us till Sep 2014 to make the full payment, we are now trying to raise the money as we understand you are not accepting our offer to make installment payments.
We hope you can understand our confusion with the accounting, loss of point of contact, us being not in Thailand and our efforts to try to sort this out since last year.
