such as building trust, camaraderie, a friendly atmosphere. These two dimensions
are at the heart of many models of leadership. Blake and Mouton proposed that
individual leaders could be measured on a nine-point scale in each of these two aspects,
and by combining them in grid form they identified the four leadership styles presented
in Table 14.1.
