EMPTYING YOUR SPLINT PAN

Before emptying (draining) your appliance, be sure that the power switch is set to "OFF". Allow the appliance to cool down before emptying. Lifting the lid will accelerate this cooling. The Splint Pan must be unplugged when emptying the reservior. The appliance has been provided with a Drain Valve that has a 1/4” (6.35mm) barbed nipple to attach a hose.
