history were predictors of repeat pregnancies
and no contraception use.

Among these mothers, enhanced
services, including family planning workshops,
were not enough to reduce the incidence of repeat
pregnancies unless they were extensive (54 hours) and
conducted by family planning professionals. Some researchers
have begun to examine the motivations for
wanting to become pregnant.
