A T-intersection occurs when one street dead ends into another street that is running the opposite way, thereby creating an intersection that looks like the letter "T". Right of way at this kind of intersection is given to the cross traffic or traffic moving left to right at the intersection. The responsibility of yielding is given to the street that dead ends into the cross street. The Texas Driver's Handbook goes as far as to say that the vehicle on the street that dead ends is required to stop even if a stop sign is not present. These kinds of intersections are found throughout our roadway system, in cities, in rural areas, and residential areas. Just simply know if you are on the street that dead ends you must yield. If anything goes wrong in that situation it would probably be your fault.
