Overview: A new online course, “Digitizing the Cardholder Experience,” highlights the steps that issuers can take
to build an integrated cardholder experience that drives instant card issuance, consumer activation and activity.
A new 20-minute course from the Visa Business School, Digitizing the Cardholder
Experience, can teach issuers to create a digital payment center for their
cardholders. Ideal for issuer staff who handle marketing and product strategy, the
course is designed to guide issuers in building an integrated, effective cardholder
experience, typically in less than one day. The course is available online at
VisaBusinessSchool.com and costs US $25. Clients have six months to complete
the course after enrollment is confirmed.
Key Topics
• The Connected Card Vision describes the touch points that customers currently encounter when they
communicate with their issuers as they seek and/or receive products and services. It also compares these
disparate exchanges to the Connected Card “holistic” experience, where customers can address all their
payment needs in one place.
• The Connected Card User Experience presents the user’s perspective, focusing on web applications,
Interactive Voice Response card activation and issuer mobile apps.
• Marketing and Education examines the kinds of digital payments that today’s consumers want, including
how issuers can both meet consumer expectations and increase awareness, understanding and enrollment.
