Duties include conducting research and teaching one course (or its equivalent) per semester; i.e. two courses per year. Research may be newly established and/or may consist of transforming an unpublished doctoral dissertation into a monograph published by a leading international publisher. The position includes administrative duties. The successful applicant is expected to actively participate in the program’s seminars and activities, be a resource for the program's graduate students, and contribute to the development of a vibrant research environment. Therefore, the successful applicant is required to be in residence during the full length of all fall and spring semesters.
