Estonia's producer prices continued to decline in September, figures from Statistics Estonia showed Tuesday.
The producer price index fell 2.8 percent year-over-year in September, which was worse than the 2.3 percent decrease in August.
Prices in the utility sector plunged 15.5 percent in September from a year ago and that for manufacturing sector went down by 1.9 percent. At the same time, mining and quarrying prices grew 4.0 percent.
On a monthly basis, producer prices dropped 0.2 percent in September, reversing a 0.6 percent increase in the preceding month.
Import prices dipped 6.1 percent annually in September and decreased 1.9 percent from the previous month. Similarly, export prices slid 4.9 percent yearly and edged down 0.2 percent monthly in September.
