The Conventions defines the discrimination against women, such as any action, distinction, exclusion or restriction made on any purpose intentions, exercising the enjoyment on the usage of women. If the state accepts the convention, actions are to be made under the regulations of the conventions to end discrimination women in all forms. Some of the commitments to regulate are to incorporate of equality of men and women in their legal system. To stop all discriminative laws and introduce appropriate laws that prevents discrimination against women. To install a court of justice and other public institutions to ensure the regulations have effective protection of women against discrimination. To make sure to stop all discriminative actions used to violate women by persons, organizations, or enterprises. The Convention provides the basis for realizing equality between all genders through ensuring female’s equal access to, vote, and stand for election, as well as education, health and including employment. States and parties agree to take all appropriate action, legislation and temporary special measures, so then women have freedom to all their human rights and fundamental freedoms. The Convention is the only human rights treaty which affirms the reproductive rights of women and aims that culture and tradition as influential forces sculpting gender roles and family relations. States and Parties also have also had to agree to take action against all forms of traffic in women and exploitation of women. Countries that reject or do not accept the convention are legally bound to put its provisions into practice. They are also to commit to submit national reports, at least every four years, on measures they have taken to obey with their treaty obligations. For human rights is also covered in the area of international law. Tonga’s government has refused to pursue CEDAW, and as a state, Tonga’s government has the right whether to enter into an international agreement.
