INTRODUCTIONSexuality concerns due to the effect of cervical cancer treatment in women who are diagnosed with cervical cancer may lead to sexual dysfunction, which may affect quality of life.Sexuality is an important aspect of quality of life in cervical cancer patients, before, during, and after treatment. Compared to other gynecological cancers (endometrial, ovarian, and vaginal cancer), cervical cancer is the leading cause of sexual dysfunction and intimate partner issues. To assist women, nurses require not only a scientific knowledge but also a greater understanding of these phenomena, and a sensitivity to the experiences of women as the cancer survivors.
