Starting this semester, you will have the opportunity to take Accuplacer English tests at the end of the semester. You will take the Accuplacer listening test in your class, but now you can also take the reading, sentence meaning and writing parts. If you do, will receive your score on these tests and also your first-semester test scores for comparison. These scores can show your progress in English, but they will not be part of your grade. The scores are just information for you and the EAP department. They will not be used as part of the class grade or placement into LA 106/LA103 or EAP 605S/605W.
The Accuplacer reading, sentence meaning and writing will happen outside of class – evening and weekends.
