The impact of H2O2 initial concentration in
color removal kinetics under UV/H2O2 process for
three typical dyes was investigated. Our results
prove that the pseudo-first order kinetic model is
in good agreement with the experimental data. A
set of parameters for the model depicting this
degradation were determined. These parameters
will naturally vary with the operating conditions,
such as UV irradiation intensity, but also the chemical
characteristics (such as dye structure, pH,
concentrations. . .) of the effluents tested.
