Atsushi recalls with startling clarity the day the two decided to move their relationship from platonic to romantic. He remembers well the look on Dazai’s face when he had been the one to close the gap between them and kiss their unsurprisingly chapped lips.
He laughs, thinking about how Dazai had taken on a new persona and shoved him harshly against the wall after that kiss and recalls well how Dazai had pressed up against him and whispered sternly in his ear, “I don’t make it a hobby to kiss men.”
