The anomalies of precipitation produced by QM and AN are alsosimilar for the by companion" len="85"> four seasons. On the other hand, the spatial patternsof the anomalies produced by WT are quite different geographically, but their intensities are comparable to those of the othermethods. Their geographical pattern is more similar in winter(Fig. 6) and autumn (not shown). In winter, it is expected that precipitationwill increase in the southern part of the Mediterraneanregion, specially on the relief of the Massif Central, where thechanges are significant (Fig. 7). The AN method is less sensitiveto this change on the relief, as the changes are probably relatedto the strong events (extremes) usually found in this part of the basin. In spring (not shown), according to QM and AN, a significantdiminution of precipitation is expected between the Cevennesand the Rhône river.
