The public media play a vital role in the transmission of free information without political or economic pressures, becoming the basis of a democratic society. However, in our country so lacking in democratic tradition in the audiovisual field, public broadcasting has been and still is, in many cases, used by powerful groups in pursuit of their interests, through politicized management bodies and without enough qualification. The purpose of this communication is to inform the professional, business and political profile of Directors, Presidents and Boards of public broadcasters, state and regional, in our country.
