To nurture the development of a project team that constitutes people from different generations, clearly defining roles and honing people skills would help ([35] Salopek, 2006). As can be seen from Table I [Figure omitted. See Article Image.], motivation is different for different generations. Perhaps, community presence, position, and monetary gain may be accorded higher importance as past research suggests that Generation Y value inclusion and recognition ([34] Pooley, 2005). It is desirable to incorporate participation, inclusion and recognition throughout the project management lifecycle and more specifically in the project closeout phase where lessons learned are captured and important achievements of the project are celebrated.
